Code of Conduct

Please help us make The People’s House enjoyable, safe, and inspirational for others. While on our premises, no visitor shall:

  • Carry firearms, other dangerous or deadly weapons, or explosives. The prohibition on firearms applies to all visitors, including those with firearm permits. These restrictions do not apply to authorized federal and local law enforcement.
  • Use offensive, abusive, threatening, or violent language or behavior.
  • Protest or conduct demonstrations of any kind.
  • Display, wear, or carry any signs, placards, banners, or clothing that could detract from the experience of other visitors.
  • Possess, sell, or use any alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, tobacco products, cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, electronic cigarettes, and vapes.
  • Climb, destroy, or otherwise damage the building or exhibits.
  • Bring pets, except for service animals.
  • Loiter or sleep.
  • Distribute any unauthorized pamphlets, advertisements, flyers, other literature or third-party sales.

Failure to comply with the code of conduct may result in removal of you and your party from our premises. The People’s House reserves the right to administer other punishments - such as revoking membership and enacting lifetime bans - as seen fit by management.
